Dundee and Angus College are offering a fantastic opportunity for an effective manager to lead the development of our finance team and services in one of the most innovative, dynamic, and successful Colleges in Scotland.

Finance Manager
35 hours per week
Salary £53,451 (pay award pending)
Campus: Kingsway and hybrid working
Supporting our recently appointed Director of Finance, the Finance Manager will play a key role in supporting our financial sustainability and building on the success of D&A as a sustainable business and service provider.
As a qualified accountant (or holding another relevant finance qualification at SCQF level 9) you will need to have significant experience in leading a finance team (ideally within the public sector).
As a function manager you will have operational responsibility for the day-to-day leadership of our accounting team and other designated finance services and will lead our annual budget setting and reporting processes alongside responsibility for our annual accounts, managing cashflow and providing reports to the Scottish Funding Council, our partners and grant providers.
We are looking for an individual that has leadership skills that align with our College values and who will work in partnership with budget holders to support create a strong and positive culture of financial accountability across the College. To achieve this you will also need excellent interpersonal and influencing skills supported by good IT skills and excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities.
