Post: Part-Time Recreation Assistant II (Fitness)

Rate of Pay: £12.00 per hour (K:A Leisure provides workers with a minimum hourly rate of £12.00 under the Living Wage Initiative. Term and Conditions apply.)

Hours: 18 hours per week

Shift Pattern: Week 1: Saturday- 0800-1215 (4.25) Sunday- 0800-1215 (4.25) Monday-Tuesday- Wednesday- 1545-2115 (5.5) (GC)- Thursday- Friday- Total 14.

Week 2: Saturday- Sunday- Monday- 1545-2115 (5.5) Tuesday- 1545-2115 (5.5) Wednesday- 1545-2115 (5.5) (GC) Thursday- 1545-2115 (5.5) Friday- Total 22.

Location: Walker Hall/Garnock, 45 Main Street, Kilbirnie, KA25 7BX

Job Purpose:

  • Provide fitness instruction, gym inductions and create customer programmes
  • Actively encourage potential subscribers to join and ensure the retention of existing subscribers
  • Set up equipment in accordance with facility bookings
  • Take responsibility for the general safety, preparation and cleaning of facilities whilst delivering excellent customer service

You Must Have:

  • Level 2 recognised gym qualification
