Role Summary:

Job Purpose:

  • Working as part of a team providing day-to-day maintenance, improvement and development of the golf course.
  • General supervision of the golf course.
  • Maintenance of the golf course to a high standard including general grounds maintenance duties, e.g. grass cutting, operation of machinery, etc.
  • Operation of ground care equipment including inspection, routine maintenance and cleaning.
  • Operation of tools and equipment including powered hand tools, tractors and ride-on-plan machinery.
  • Assist in the planning for work and maintenance programmes, by identifying materials for use, to maintain and improve the quality of the course.

You Must Have:

  • SVQ Level 2 in Sports Turf: Greenkeeping or Sports Turf: Groundsman or working towards an equivalent qualification or appropriate work experience.
  • A flexible approach to working patterns, including early mornings, evenings and weekends.
  • Previous experience of greenkeeping/ grounds maintenance operations and a Full Driving Licence is desirable.
